So gp said ,today endocrinologist consulted and I am to stay on reduced dose of 100 mcg thyroxine till he sees me.Just looked back over past 7 months and see my dose has changed about 5 times and now on 100 and been in bed for a week,got up today and shaking ,jittery,this is scary been on this dose for 13 days and feel metabolism haywire.Will I become stable soon ?

Who knows Susie? We are all different and until we have found the stable dose that suits our bodies our whole being is out of kilter. It's a sair fecht!I was all but bed bound for 2 years. Adding a small dose of liothyronine has helped. It has taken another 2 years for my body to adjust and start working again. It will take my metabolism a while longer to adjust still though.

Thank you. I still have to watch how I use my energy and I wouldn't be able to go on holiday yet but I am no longer bed or housebound.Hoping you feel some relief soon.
