I am on armour 3/4 grain. I am having a lot of histamine reactions to the medication. I am wondering if anyone has been able to source NP thyroid since they had issues with it?

Have you trialled taking one anti-histamine tablet one hour before your thyroid hormone dose? This would confirm whether it is Armour is the cause. Armour was the original thyroid hormone replacement and I haven't read of negative statements.

No I haven’t trialled that yet. That’s a good idea though will give it a go. I know some people struggle with the fillers in armour but it seems to be helping. Can post labs below, I need an increase but waiting for another blood test at the moment.

That is a good idea from shaws but you may find that the fillers in the anti-histamines also cause a problem. Might be worth taking one away from as much else as possible so you get an idea if you have an immediate reaction. With histamine being more like an overflowing bucket, it can be hard to pin down what is pushing you over the edge. I needed a low histamine diet, at least until I got a better handle on things like other (non-food/medication) triggers. Magnesium and vitamin C are very helpful, also I use quercetin as can't tolerate anti-histamines. Some are having histamine problems post virus or vaccine. The latter generally seem to settle faster than the former, where mast cells may be dysregulated. If you can lower intake and improve processing things should calm down enough to tolerate the armour if that is the thing you want to get to 'go in', if that makes sense. All a matter of balance. If I want to eat fish, I avoid walnuts, bananas and oranges in the same day! Best of luck
