Sorry was not clear at all, wanted to know what I should take first, and I also take Omeprazole in morning also before breakfast, so any advice would help, thanks.

Levothyroxine should be taken on it's own, 2 hours away from any other medication and supplements, although some need four hours.

Omeprazole should be taken as far away as possible, minimum four hours.

Hydrocortisone at least 2 hours.

Thanks SeasideSusie for your advice, I have several other medications to take and I was starting to feel unwell constantly so was thinking Levothyroxine/Hydrocotisone was not being absorbed properly, I will make changes from your advice and hope it helps,

Do you have any current thyroid test results? If so you can post them, along with their reference ranges, and we can see if there are any problems there.

I do not have any thyroid test results but when I get them next I will post them along with reference ranges, thanks again for your time, discussing anywhere online is something I am doing for first time, I usually just read so thanks again because you have made it quite welcoming.

It is often suggested that bed-time dosing results in slightly better absorption. It also seems slightly closer to the pattern healthy people have. And can help avoid clashes with other medicines.

I have always taken my levothyroxine at bed-time.

For that reason, I cannot compare with taking in the morning.

Before diagnosis, my sleep was badly disturbed. Typically, I would fall asleep fairly easily. Then wake up after something like half an hour to two hours. Once woken I'd be unable to get back to sleep - often till dawn, or at all.

Once I started on levothyroxine, my sleep slowly improved. By the time I was taking an adequate dose, bad nights were unusual - just an occasional night where I might wake up for a while. Now, after years, I sleep very easily and deeply and rarely wake at all. If I do, I get back to sleep quickly.

Thanks Helvella for your advice and info, I will have a look at the papers you have sent and make changes to try help myself as I do not think Levothyroxine/Hydrocortisone medications are being abosorbed properly due to me feeling unwell constantly.
