Accurate thermometer?

Hi

I am going to check my temps to check on thyroid and adrenals, I read mercury is most accurate but I can’t find one, the nearest I can find is Geratherm, is that the most accurate one or are there any of the electronic ones that are accurate enough?

Thanks

Mercury thermometers have been unavailable for many years.

There have been previous posts about thermometers, have read through them:

You won't find a mercury thermometer because it is illegal to sell them now.

Geratherm thermometers are supposed to be quite good and accurate but some report difficulties in shaking them down after use.

Remember that your technique is a major factor in accuracy - whatever type you use. Precise positioning and following the requirements such as how long to leave in place, etc.
