Help with Finding a Post

I am trying to pull up a post for which I have the name of the person who made the post but when I put the name into the search box nothing comes up. Can anyone tell me how to pull up a post when you have the name of the person who made the post. Also, I have just realised you can save a post. Can anyone tell me how to do this Thanks

Try putting the member name into this search box here healthunlocked.com/thyroidu... If the name doesn't come up, then it's possible the member has left the forum.

To save a post, simply click the Save Post button directly below the first post of a thread.

That happened to me a few days ago. It was a new member who, before I hit reply, must have had second thoughts and promptly left the forum. Unfortunate, because they did need some support.

I think some people might feel apprehensive giving information about themselves and change their minds. Hopefully if they then consider that they do need help, get some courage to do another post.

You could go to their profile page with the exact URL/web address.

Using my own profile page as an example :

healthunlocked.com/user/hum...

notice that my username is at the end of the url. If you change that to the name of the member you are looking for you'll see the things they've posted. You can also click on Replies to see things they have posted in response to others.

I checked their profile but they had deleted that too...short user name, so I remembered it and checked on the Members listHope they do come back because it was a plea for help from a husband about his obviously very unwell wife in need of treatment.
