Raw gland supplement

I am talking a supplement, raw gland comcentrated, has any one taken this supplements?

My advice is don't take it. It contains iodine and that is something we should be tested for and only take if found to be deficient, then only under the supervision of an experienced practioner. Iodine solution used to be used to treat hypERthyroid before the current radioactive iodine treatment, so can cause hypothyroidism or make it worse, and certainly shouldn't be taken if Hashi's is present.

Why do you think you need a "thyroid supplement", on the whole they tend to contain iodine so are never a good idea.

Do you have current results for TSH

Thyroid antibodies

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

Post them, with their reference ranges, and we should be able to help.

Thank you so much , at the moment I am taking levo thyroxine 175 mcg once a day, I have Graves disease part of my thyroid was removed in 2011

Were you diagnosed with Graves Disease and have you had RAI thyroid ablation ?

Do you have any results you can share with us ?

I have Graves and had RAI which has totally disabled and burnt my thyroid out in situ.

I have taken Adrenal caps from Solaray which helped in my recovery and I still do support these glands, and I have now switched to taking full spectrum thyroid hormone.

Natural Desiccated Thyroid is pig thyroid, dried and ground down into tablets referred to as grains and contains all the same know thyroid hormones as found in the human gland and I find these thyroid hormone replacement much better than just Levothyroxine.
