Apparently armpit temperature readings are more accurate,I'm not sure but I do know that today temp after getting up was 36.7 and after 20 minutes of low impact aerobic exercise 34.8,which is officially classed as hypothermia. This is extremely worrying as I am trying to help my fitness level and depression with exercise.

Apparently armpit temperature readings are more accurate

That isn't strictly true. Temperature can be measured in the mouth, the ear, the armpit, and the anus. What is normal for the ear isn't necessarily going to be normal for the armpit.

There are also differences depending on gender. And there are differences in fertile women according to whereabouts in the menstrual cycle they are.

I suspect that different thermometers will also give different readings. There was a time when people only used mercury thermometers. Now there are lots of different types. I doubt they are all calibrated so exactly that there wouldn't be differences detectable between them.

Other differences occur depending on time of day and when the person last ate.

So, the best thing to do is to get a rough idea of what would be considered to be "normal" by looking up, say, armpit temperatures on the internet and trying to gauge what is "average", then sticking to a routine where you measure in the same place at the same time of day with the same thermometer, and so you can see whether your temperature is fluctuating dramatically or not.

A link you might find of interest on the subject of body temperature and thyroid/adrenal problems :

I've never tried what it suggests in that link but some people have said they found it helpful.

Sobs The simple solution is to stop taking your temperature. Keeping doing it will just keep you anxious. This is the reason I will not by a fitbit or similar monitor because I would be constantly monitoring and worrying about my heart rate or blood pressure.

Our bodies do not function as normal because we have a thyroid problem which has affected all our bodily systems.
