Under? Still?

So, kids went back today here in sunny Scotland and I “may” have hit the exercise thing a wee bit hard.

I did our usual 3.5 mile, fairly strenuous dog walk (normal) but then I restarted a series of workouts on an app I’ve used before. The workout is only 10 mins of stretches, plank etc.

Tonight I have crazy palpitations, I ache and to be honest I feel quite sick.

Am I undermedicated still?

The weird thing is the last time I did this was last summer, exactly the same idea, walk then workout. Same workout, same time of day, same food prior. You get the idea. Except then I was only on around 20mcg T3 and 75 levo. Now I’m on (just) 60mcg T3 and no levo (as of 6 weeks ago).

Ideas? (And yes I know, I should take it easier!)

Your vitamin D levels may have dropped since it is now winter. If mine drops below optimal I can ache substantially more than when it is optimal.

The other possibility is that you might be one of those people who doesn't do well on T3 only and needs at least some T4 in your thyroid meds.

Did you sweat much with all your exercise? Perhaps your electrolytes are low because they can be lost in sweat - sodium, potassium, magnesium perhaps?

Thank you.

I’m still supplementing vit d so I suspect it’s not that. And it wasn’t particularly sweaty exercise, more stretching.

I suspect maybe I do need some T4 in there although the reduction in aches and pain and weird side effects when I stopped it was significant so I’m a bit gutted to have to consider it again!

Doesn’t sound over the top workout wise at all but you are using T3. Palpitations can come about from underdosing and overdose. In summer you don’t need as much T3 so that will be why
