Thank you Paula, for your help, I’m just starting out on this hypothyroidism and seem to be getting one thing after another, now feeling a bit down, so once again Thanks

When hypothyroid we tend to have low stomach acid

Stomach actually needs to be very acidic to help breakdown food and maintain right bacteria

Yeast overgrowth is common hypothyroid symptom, especially if only on starter dose of Levothyroxine

Probiotics can help. Even daily Danone probiotic drinks

But obviously most important is getting dose of Levothyroxine increased regularly

How much Levothyroxine are you currently taking?

Important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 too if not been done recently

Hi

I use to get it just really bad just before a period, I embarked on giving up sugar, and going low carb, since doing this I don’t have any more issues.

Best wishes

Cut down your sugar intake, eat prebotic yogurt and have a chat with your Doctor about the symptoms.
