Does alcohol affect test results?

I’m having blood tests done very soon and it’s my husband’s birthday dinner the night before. If I have a few drinks will this affect my tests? If so, how? Thanks in advance.

I do think this is a good question - I do not know the answer.

I suspect that it could be important for some, and irrelevant for others. But a more authoritative answer would help!
