Please any person try to use ketocinazole to block cortisol oral or cream and tell me result

Sohir,

An antifungal, also commonly used on dogs, whose side effects helps with Cushings.

Never heard of it, so had to google it.

Using a word associated with the subject as the title of your post, might invite further replies.

radd That may be just the topical cream, the BNF describes its oral use as:

An imidazole derivative which acts as a potent inhibitor of cortisol and aldosterone synthesis by inhibiting the activity of 17α-hydroxylase, 11-hydroxylation steps and at higher doses the cholesterol side-chain cleavage enzyme.

It also inhibits the activity of adrenal C17-20 lyase enzymes resulting in androgen synthesis inhibition, and may have a direct effect on corticotropic tumour cells in patients with Cushing's disease.

Yes, the o/p refers to either oral or topical. Double, triple, quadruple (or a hundred times more) it’s strength and directive totally changes.
