My first period after my Radioactive iodine treatment was very odd Indeed and it had a strange smell to it. 2 weeks after my period ended (lasted much longer than usual) i have started to bleed again?
I am 49 but 50 in July. Has it triggered early menopause? Or is this common? Will it get better after a few months?
Thank you

So it’s hard to say . I wish you all the best for a fast recovery and positive thoughts to you. Here’s the link for you:
Hi, After a radio active treatment, your body needs months to get rid of all the radioactivity. And as much as it targets only the thyroid, it does impact other areas. So patience. Good luck.
