Levothyroxine and fatigue

Hi, sorry I’ve posted a few times in past few months but I started 75mcg Levothyroxine yesterday and I’m really struggling to stay awake in the afternoon. Is this normal to start off with?

You normally wouldn't feel much in the first few days of starting Levo. It takes 7-10 days to enter the cells properly. So it may not be the Levothyroxine, it may be one of the fillers. You are taking Teva, this is the brand that causes most problems for members who have various reactions and side effects when taking it.

As your tablets were Teva, suggest you get new prescription

Suggest you get new prescription for the standard starter dose of 50mcg or 50mcg plus 25mcg tablets and make sure to not get prescribed Teva brand
