Have hyperthyroidism- based on bloods. On beta blockers for symptoms and have been prescribed Carbimazole 20mg x 2 a day by endocrinologist I’m to see tomorrow. Any tips on questions I should be asking? He’s private as a 9 month wait at local hospital 😡
Many thanks in advance!

I don't have your problem but I will say it's important to write things down-so easy to forget when you are nervous.
I would want to know more about it, symptoms that show things aren't going well and what to do about it. What it means long term and should you be monitored frequently i.e. frequent blood results.
Just a few things I think I would want to know and as being new to all this things I think you should be told. Good luck.
Good luck with your appt. I did the same and asked if she could see me on the NHS after the first appt and she said yes. Ended up seeing her on the NHS 3 weeks later after my GP referred me. Think you need very regular monitoring especially when first diagnosed.
