Hi i had no idea how to attach results to a previous post so hopefully there will show up.@seasidesusie
Cortisol results from previous post: Hi i had no... - Thyroid UK
Cortisol results from previous post
A good normal response so no issues with adrenal gland or pituitary!

Ah, so they don't provide a graphic.
Optimal levels are (according to rt3-adrenals.org/cortisol_t... )
• Morning at the top of the range
- yours is 75% so that's a pretty good result
• Noon approximately 75% of the range
- yours is 72% so that's pretty near perfect
I have issues with the 4pm and bedtime ranges, can the bottom of the range really be 0.00? If the ranges are, like thyroid tests, based X number of people, are there really people walking round with a cortisol level of zero? I can't see it myself. At least Regenerus ranges do actually have actual real amounts for every range, none start at zero.
• Evening close to 50% of the range
- yours is 64% so a touch over optimal, maybe this is a bit of a stressful time - kids home from school, cooking tea, or whatever?
• Nighttime at the bottom of the range - this is actually impossible to comment on because they don't give you an actual result. Just saying <1.5 means that the actual result could be 0.0 and it could be 1.4. If it was 1.4 it would be too high for a nighttime result, so all in all this particular sample result is totally useless.
And of course, there is no DHEA. I honestly wish BH and Medichecks would stop offering this test.
Regenerus gives a reference interval and an "optimal range". You said in your other post that "They are not optimal, just a little bit on low side". As BH don't give an optimal range, I'm not sure why you think they're on the low side. All in all, apart from not knowing what your nighttime level is, your results aren't bad at all.
Ok, thanks for that. It kind of makes me wonder why am i living on adrenaline, low blood sugar especially first thing? I have all symptoms of low cortisol except i look like high cortisol, belly fat, fluid retention etc. Im so sensitive to stimulants, smells, food? Any ideas?
