Does anyone have PCOS and is it connected to Hashimoto’s in any way? How is it treated? Does it affect thyroid?
My gynecologist suspects that I have it (she said it resembles PCOS while looking the ultra sound) and ordered some sex hormones to be done when I get my period and also OGTT with insulin levels (75mg of glucose) to see if I have insulin sensitivity.

Don't know what the treatment is - probably hormone replacement or blocking. It doesn't affect the thyroid but can be caused by the same things that cause an underactive thyroid, so they go together
