Disability Benefits

Hello all. At the moment I am pretty crippled with a bad Hashimotos flare and wondered if anyone had had any luck with receiving disability benefits? I know auto immune diseases are classed as disabilities but the whole process seems pretty daunting. .anyone had any joy?

From what I have read, you have to be stiff and in the morgue to actually get anywhere now! I expect you feel like you are half way there, but people are getting turned down for many long term illnesses that they were given benefits "for life" now.

There are a few websites that can help you with the process and it is worth looking at those before you contact the benefit lot.
