Hi All

Anybody familiar with Tertroxin 0.02 ?

How do I incorporate it into my daily dose with Euthyrox 0.1 per day?

Regards

In the UK, Mercury Pharma liothyronine (T3) used to be branded "Tertroxin". It was de-branded in order for the manufacturer to increase the price. I *think* that it is still called Tertroxin in some other countries - such as South Africa. (Last I looked, it appeared to be imported and distributed by Aspen.)

There is only one tablet size - 20 microgram. (Most of the world uses micrograms for doses of levothyroxine and liothyronine.)

I do not take liothyronine - quite a number of others here do but might not have recognised what you were asking.

Dear helvella

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I was under the impression that it's no longer available, but when someone checked for me, we found that it is in fact still available in South Africa.

I managed to get hold of it and was wondering how to properly use it.

I suggest you write a new post which explains why you want to change, a bit of background, etc. And just refer to having 20 microgram liothyronine tablets to keep it simple. :-)

Not what you're looking for?
