Levo dose and progesterone

There’s been a few different discussions on here recently (which I have been part of) about the effects of progesterone supplementation on thyroid hormones.

My query is kind of a converse one! I increased my levo about 4 weeks ago and have been feeling great on it. For the first time in about a year, I feel my energy levels are almost back to normal. However, the migraine-like headaches I had last year when all my levels were all over the place, have returned.

I have progesterone cream ready for use in a week or so’s time so hoping this will help with this and other estrogen-dominant symptoms, but could it be that as my thyroid levels are now good again, this is affecting my progesterone?

Clutching at straws but really hoping these headaches aren’t back to stay 😢

I'm sorry no one has replied, mum. I don't think it would harm you to go ahead and try it. It's very common to be estrogen dominant. Also common to be deficient in progesterone. Your adrenals use it first if necessary and it takes about 3 months to raise hormone levels so I doubt you would over dose although it's hard to know how much is too much.
