Welcome to the forum. Are you diagnosed as hypothyroid?

The most obvious thing with weight issues, is are you currently on correct level of thyroid hormones

If you add your most recent blood test results and ranges, members can advise. TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus if you have high TPO and/or high TG antibodies

Very important to have good vitamin levels too. Add results and ranges for vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 if you have them

But im 23 weeks and gain 8 kg so far and i was skinny before im scared i will gain alot and wont be able to get rid of it later. My doctor told me that hassimoto will stay after pregnancy. Do not attempt to diet while pregnant. Eating a fresh whole food diet with lots of protein and fresh fruit and vegetables

Very important to have good levels of vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin. Have these been tested

Weight gain is a clinical symptoms but when you reach an optimum dose of levothyroxine weight should reduce. Your dose will be increased every six weeks after a blood test. It should always be at the very earliest, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose and test and take afterwards.

Levo should be taken, usually when we get up with one full glass of water and wait an hour before eating. Some prefer bedtime dose, in that case miss night dose and take after a.m. blood test and at night as usual.

It is important your dose is increased every six weeks by 25mcg.

When I was expecting my first, I think I had hypo/Hashi's, but nobody did any tests! (This was 1968.) And I put on exactly 2 stone - 12.7 kilos - and the doctors gave me hell! They quite ruined my pregnancy with their nagging, bullying, snide remarks, but I was eating very healthily and got lots of exercise.

The day I gave birth, I lost exactly 2 stone. Big baby, copious waters! And, two weeks later I left hospital in my normal clothes, including my girdle! (This was 1968! lol) The other mums were all jealous as hell! lol My one regret is that I didn't have the opportunity to rub the noses of those doctors I'd seen in my weight lose. (Sounds a bit weird, but still…) I never saw any of the b******ds again!

So, what I'm saying is, don't worry about it. Eat well - you need nourishment - and cross that bridge when you come to it. :)
