Hi Fauzia
You have not put any information on your Profile so don't know whether or not you have been diagnosed.
I have looked at a couple of your previous posts but assume you haven't been diagnosed yet as having a problem with your thyroid gland?
Weight gain is a clinical symptom of hypothyroidism and I'll give you a link you may have more than a few.

If you have changes in your skin, you have to visit your doctor who should put your mind at rest. I have read posts in which some members complain of skin problems.
Weight gain is a clinical symptom of hypothyroidism but could be due to other reasons.
Next time your blood test is due ask your doctor to test TSH, T4, T3, free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies. B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate if you've not had them tested recently.
I think you know to always get the very earliest appointment, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24hours between your last dose of levothyroxine and the test and take afterwards.
If you are hypothyroid, weight gain is a clinical symptom and is due to our metabolism being very low that weight increases. As dose of levothyroxine is slowly increased weight can reduce. Thyroid hormone replacements (levothyroxine) raises your metabolism but it has to be increased very slowly.
