Well being hypo certainly won't help -what are your test results and T3 levels?
I would suspect you have nutritional deficiencies which certainly can cause these issues - you need to get Vit B12, folate, iron/ferritin and Vit D checked.
Hope you feel better soon
Loss of balance could be low B12. Feeling dizzy could be lack of iron. Fatigue could be low B12, low vitamin D or low iron levels or all 3. Low folate can affect eyes. Get all the vitamins checked. More likely to be low vitamin levels than thyroid but you could get thyroid bloods done at the same time. Check for thyroid antibodies TPO and TgAb re. the fatigue.
Hi Joannagof1, I went through the same symptoms you are going through when my Thyroid Panel,( THS, T3-T4, were low. I couldn't take generic Levothyroxine. What a nightmare for me. So I pay more for Synthroid. Some people don't do well on generics. Like GreyGoose says leave a Thyroid panel here to look at and perhaps you can get some advice.
I have horrible fatigue. I've had it for years. I take a TON of Vitamins, including a women's ," Alive", multiple with extras built in for age 50+. My personal ACE IN THE HOLE, is a 200 mg Caffeine pill. My Doctor knows about all my Vitamins and caffeine! I take all this stuff every day, and I do feel better for it!
I have many of the Autoimmune troubles. Fibromyalgia,(and it's not " Over Active Nerves", like " Lyrica" on TV say's)! And Myofaciitis, Interstitial Cystitis, and Arthritis, and Leaky gut syndrome. All of this and Hypo Thyroidism. I've had two neck fusions one knee replacement and I need a shoulder replacement after three operations to try to fix it. I have about a,35% loss of use in my right shoulder. So......,yea I'm tired. Plus...I'm in a PAIN Clinic, on nasty drugs I'd rather not be on with NO alternative! That's for the bladder disease Interstitial Cystitis. Good luck to you!
thank you.so what has helped you with fatigue?
