Hi can anybody tell me why my gums are white is have a overactivethyroid thanks shirley

Have you checked your iron levels?

Gums should not be white, this is a sign that there is something wrong,,as your dentist,,or your doctor,,and maybe have blood tests for various levels, including anemia,, regard this as serious,,good luck, ttfn from karen.

Not convinced,,nobody's gums should be white,,no pink colour suggests there is a problem with the blood supply,,,ask the dentist,,,and tell the gp you are not happy and to refer you onto an ent,,or such,,gums a pink, for a reason,,,ttfn from karen.
