Consultant thinks lump/goitre is pushing on a nerve. Pain in neck/spine/arms. Anyone got any experience of this?

I'm in pain at the back of my neck/spine. I have a lump/ goitre and multiple nodules. I'd love to hear from anyone who is or has had the same or similar experience?! And what the outcome was.

Has consultant done an ultrasound scan to check?

Nodules can cause pain when they press on a nerve.

I had a large nodule removed because it was compressing my trachea. It didn't cause pain but made swallowing and breathing difficult.

Yeah they did two months ago and drained the lump but not all of it. Two weeks later I've been in pain! When I saw a doctor last week they didn't do the ultrasound. Yeah breathing sometimes is restricted. Was it surgery you ha?
