Should I be worried?

I had a blood test yesterday morning for a drs appointment on Tuesday. In a previous discussion with dr he had agreed to test a whole range of things (as suggested on this site).

Just after 7pm last night I had a phone call from the drs saying that my blood test results were a bit "squ-iff" and could I go in tomorrow? (I.e. Friday).

So now I have to get through a day at work and try not to worry until 4pm tonight. Hubby says it'll be nothing serious but I can't help worrying. Tell me I've got nothing to worry about!

Since you asked for advice, here is mine:

Worry when and *if* it becomes necessary. It won't help to worry now. Easier said than done sometimes, but take deep breaths and remind yourself there is a range of reasons you could be asked to come back. And be grateful your appointment is this afternoon and you don't have to spend the weekend wondering (and worrying). :)

Holding a good thought for you and hoping it's nothing serious!

I should think that if it was something serious, he would have had you in Friday morning, first thing!

Jeez, why do they treat us like imbeciles or little kids? Wy not use proper English?

What a waste of time!!

Had an appointment with a dr (not my usual) who seemed to know nothing about thyroid or the tests I'd had done.

He said my tsh was even lower than a month ago (was 0.01 and now <0.01) and we should drop my medication and retest in a couple of months.

Asked me what tests I had done and what tests were for - sure he said I was jogging his memory!!

Needless to say I won't be doing anything until I see my (lovely) dr on Tuesday. What a waste of time and stress!!
