I have been diagnosed we thyroid. And I am curious before I start taking my tablets how many people had a baby then recovered after finishing breastfeeding. I'm genuinely scared to take tablets and loose my hair and gain weight

Have you had any antibodies tested - either for Grave's or Hashi's?

You need to ask for a print-out of your results. If you live in the UK, it is your legal right to have a copy under the 1998 Data Protection Act. You need to know exactly what was tested, and exactly what the results were. Personally, I would never accept a diagnosis of hyperthyroidism without knowing all the details, there's too much room for error.

Ok. I have been refered for ultrasounds and specialist. Got scan next week but haven't heard about specialist app yet. The print out won't mean much to me will it ??
