results now making sense maybe levo with T3

Thank you to all your replies its starting to make sense now! I am starting to think I will go back to Levo and try T3 with it, does anyone have a safe website to order this?

How much Levothyroxine were you taking before you switched to Thyroid-S? Why don't you increase your Thyroid-S dose first and see how you feel when you are optimally dosed?

I was on 150 levo and I am not sure the thyroid s was effective to me. I am thinking of levo again with t3 to see if this works, I am so tired and have joint pain and brain fog I feel quite desperate.

2 grains Thyroid-S is only equivalent to 130mcg Levothyroxine so you are under dosed.

Low vitD will also cause joint pain.

both Erfa and Thyroid s need an extra process to break them down because they are manufactured to have a longer shelf life. Will add a link which describes this...... I cannot tolerate either of them because i cant do the extra process. Have you tried any other makes? I do ok on thiroyd, not quite so well with the np. ( the pink one) and i do brilliantly on nature throid.

It worries me evey time i see someone starting first off with thyroid S. Probably best to always start with the hypoallergenic nature throid, so you have a reference with which to compare other brands.

1 grain contains 38mcg T4 + 9mcg T3 which is equivalent to 65mcg T4 so 2 grains is equivalent to 130mcg.
