Hi! I'm new here and I haven't been diagnosed with a thyroid problem, I am getting a blood test next Friday to see if I do.
I went to the hospital with chest pains and feeling fatigue about 4 weeks ago, they did a blood test and told me it had come back clear and I am actually suffering from anxiety. Do you guys think that they should have tested for any thyroid problems then, as I was giving symptoms?
Yesterday I was back at the doctors, again with the symptoms of feeling fatigue and worrying, my doctor also seemed unsure of why they didn't test me. Just want to know what others think? as I am now worrying about my blood test on Friday and the results!

Lots of things cause you to feel fatigued, low HB (which you don't have), stress, depression, menopause, diet, the list is endless, thyroid is only one of them. Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism have many more symptoms than just fatigue. Your post sounded stressed! The hospital could be right and it could be anxiety/stress. I would try not to worry about the blood test. I'm sure it'll be fine. If it is, I'd concentrate on reducing your stress/anxiety levels. The doctor can help you with this by giving you suggestions of things to do to help with that.
