Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 2 months ago. I am currently taking 75mg of levothyroxine and still experiencing a lot of issues dispite my 'bloods' being okay on my last test.
If anyone has any advice I'd be very welcome to it

Lupinx It is very early in your thyroid journey and it takes a while to build up to your optimal dose where symptoms abate and you feel well.
Did your GP start you on 75mcg Levo? Is he following the normal protocol of re-testing 6-8 weeks after starting and increasing your dose, then re-testing after another 6-8 weeks? This should continue until you feel well and symptoms abate.
Can you post your latest results, with reference ranges please. 'Normal' doesn't mean anything, it's where you fall within the ranges that's important as well as your symptoms. Chances are your GP may be treating by numbers and as long as your results are in range then he's satisfied. If you are still symptomatic then you need to let him know and push for an increase.
The aim of a treated hypo patient is for TSH to be 1 or below or wherever it is needed for FT4 and FT3 to be in the upper part of their respective reference ranges if that is where you feel well.
Also, for thyroid hormone to work properly our vitamins and minerals need to be at optimal levels. Ask for the following to be tested:
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
When you have the results make a new thread and members can comment and make suggestions if you are deficient in any of them.
Thank you so much for all of your suggestions. I'm going back to the doctors on Monday so I'll be asking them to increase me then. I started on 50mg then was too low after six weeks, I started 75mg after.. then had a blood test after 6 weeks and it's showing normal ranges but I still feel terrible.
Lupinx Always ask for your results and get the reference ranges too. You are legally entitled to them under the Data Protection Act 1998 so the surgery can't refuse but may make a small charge for printing. Keep a record of your results, dose and how you feel to refer back to so you'll know how you felt on certain doses if your GP wants to alter your meds, if you feel well on a dose and he wants to reduce it then you can tell him how that reduction will affect you.
All I know is if it is making you feel worse, weepy low , achy, anxious don't think it's normal- you may need a lower dose or NDT as you may not convert the T4 to T3
The minute a doctor tells you that you are "normal", you should be suspicious. Ask for paper copies of results and post them, with units and ranges, here. If you continue to raise levo (T4) but never feel well, there are two things you need to do:
1) Normalize your nutritionals. Unless you have paid close attention to your diet, chances are good you are low on critical vitamins, minerals, and/or amino acids.
2) Get a full thyroid panel: TSH/FT3/FT4/rT3/TPOAb/TGAb. If your doc won't do it, attempt to get private testing. Many doctors do not understand that you will never feel well, if you cannot convert enough T4 to T3, or have high rT3, or are nursing Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroiditis (as shown by results of antibody tests TPOAb & TGAb).
