Hi

just a little introductory. I have an under active thyroid for 6 years now. Fibromyalgia . Carpal tunnel relapse and a few other ailments.

I'm looking for support and somewhere to vent ;-/ and maybe give back too.

Welcome to our forum, and I note that you are hypothyroid plus fibro and carpal tunnel.

You don't give any info on your Profile. When were you diagnosed, and what have you been prescribed (I assume levothyroxine) and what dose.

When you get your next blood test, it should be the very earliest possible and don't eat before it although you can drink water. You should also allow approx 24 hours between your last dose of levo and the blood test and take it afterwards.

Always get a print-out of your blood test results with the ranges (in UK some surgeries charge a nominal sum) and post if you have any queries. If you haven't had your Vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate tested, ask for these too because we can be deficient.
