It is understandable you are both worked up as its always stressful having to have an op, but please be reassured that it's not going to be as bad as you think. I had a TT in October 2014 and like you got myself in a tiss (to put it mildly). The build up was worse than the actual op!!! Afterwards there was no pain just a bit of discomfort as you can't lie down properly. I found it remarkably less painful than I'd built it up to be. In fact it hurts more when you stub your toe😆 You'll be so pumped up on painkillers and once the op is over you'll be better than you are right now once on the right thyroid treatment (we don't choose to have the op after all).
I wish you all the best for tomorrow. I know everyone here will be holding your hand x
Wishing you all the best,I had a hemi thyroidectomy followed by a completion 6 weeks later so I know how you feel,it'll soon be over & you will be on the mend X
Thank you and bless you all for your replies the support here is wonderful and i hope once my op is over i can offer my help to anyone who is going through the same because it means so much thank you again x
