I have gained so much weight since I have been on 75mcg of levothyroxine. Also lots of aches and sleeplessness that I never had before. Has anybody any answers

It is one of the most common questions, unexplained weight gain, which can occur before diagnosis or after being on levothyroxine. It might be because you aren't yet on an optimum dose to raise your metabolism to normal. How long since you were diagnosed and what dose of levothyroxine are you taking?
If you've had a recent blood test for thyroid can post the results with the ranges and you will get comments. If you are due a test make the appointment for the earliest and fast also (you can drink water). Leave about 24 hours between your last dose of levo and the test.
