A friend traveling through Greece is going to grab some T3 (OTC) there and I am going to trial it in conjunction with the Levo that I am currently taking
I'm currently on 100mcg Levo (Eutirox)
After reading on here I think I should start with 75mcg of Levo and 12.5 mcg of T3 (half tablet)
What are your thoughts?
Can I take both together or do I have to stagger the medication?
Main reason for wanting to trial T3 is to combat the brain fog that I am experiencing
Any further advice?

Please remember that everyone is very different and what works for one person may not work for someone else.
Thyroid UK always suggests that, as far as possible, people are monitored when taking or trialling thyroid medication.
Nobody here should be assumed to have any medical training and people will only be able to explain what worked for them, no one can advise you on what YOU should take.
WillAyl, people will be able to advise better if you post your recent thyroid results with the lab ref ranges (figures in brackets after results).
12.5mcg T3 is equivalent to 37.5mcg Levothyroxine (T4). If you are optimally medicated reduce T4 by 25mcg and add one quarter tablet, 6.25mcg, initially to acclimate to the T3. You can take T4 and T3 together. This may be enough but if not, and if you haven't had symptoms of overmedication ie anxiety, jitters, diarrhoea, palpitations etc. increase to 12.5mcg split into 2 doses 6-12 hours apart. T3 isn't an instant fix so stay on 12.5mcg for 6 weeks and have a FT3 test before increasing further.
