Ooh, I like it! I wonder if it is the kind of thing that an individual can buy, or is it really expensive and only big organisations can afford them?

If they aren't expensive I think I'll buy one for my mum for her birthday - she has totally invisible veins and ends up like a pin cushion when samples are required.

Yes, some of those that take blood aren't always very good at it, are they!

I have very sticky out veins - a phlebotomist's dream - so I can't really appreciate it.

Well, Lucky old you! They always have to dig around for hours for to get blood out of me. And even when they find a vein, there's no guarantee they're going to get blood out of it. Even when I was on blood thinners, the blood didn't flow well.
