Hi all - does anyone see a private Endo who you are really satisfied with and feel that they are sympathetic and listen to you? I am in the Brentwood area and would be very interested in how to find a good private endo, prices and the procedures really.

As usual - thank you to all those that reply and can pass on information!!

If anyone has information to pass onto livelifetothefull it must be by Private Message, in accordance with the guidelines.

If you email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org she has a list of doctors.

I live in on the Herts Essex border, so fall under Herts and Essex NHS. The treatment I have had , GP through to consultant, has been dire. Herts and Essex seem particularly bad.

I went privately outside of this area. I wouldn't pay for someone employed by Herts and Essex. If you would like to message me for info for my sympathetic endo I will happily help.

Sorry I have to say this with the hand cuff that the endos have and their insistence in sticking with NHS T4, I can safely say I have found not one.

I live in Cambridgeshire but have been travelling to Essex to see a private endo who has prescribed T3 and helped with supplement suggestions. Happy to share a name if you PM me ( as I have no idea how to do it! LOL!)

I believe there is an endo in Broomfield that will prescribed Armour as LAST RESORT.

But in all the years I have had this cursed condition, I have been made worse every time I have seen an endo, The last treatment it has taken me four years to get back to any feeling or normality. If you are a difficult patient then you must see the Belgium DR who comes to london to help people like us, he is your man. Thats as much as I can say on this board.
