It depends how much too high it was. It's a very unpleasant feeling when it's too high isn't it. I've usually felt better within two days on Levo. It depends what drug you're on and also if it really needed reducing as adjusting down after a test is sometimes a mistake. May be best if you give more information about your diagnosis and how long and how much etc. then others will be able to give you clearer advice.

I had to have it reduced from 125 levo to 100 as too high dose was going hyper

Jake, it can take up to 7/10 days to feel better as the higher dose leaves your system.

NEVER let a doctor reduce your dose based in blood tests alone!! ALWAYS disagree.

Was the going hyper your feeling or your doctors? Are have you test results that show this, if so please share them.

Going hyper suggested to me you aren't quite there yet so you might be normal if you excuse me using that word! How long have you been on 125 and why did you increase from 100. Just trying to work out whether you are on the wrong dose or may be on the wrong dose. In any case I would try, if you really need to lower your dose of doing it very slowly as presumably you could need to be somewhere in between. I would try alternating the two doses and get another test in 6 weeks and keep notes as to how you are feeling.
