Hi,
How do I know that I am taking the correct dose of seriphos to lower cortisol. Any advice please. I have done the spit test which confirms high cortisol.
thanks xx

This site gives some helpful suggestions on lowering cortisol including the of Seriphos.

Thanks for that shambles. Lots to take on board.

Did you get the InterPlexus brand? I think the 1000 mg. Is the recommended dose to take once before dinner. If that isn't enough, you take another one later. If you aren't seriously high on cortisol at night, perhaps one will be enough. The other suggestion (lactium) in that article might be an interesting additive if Seriphos isn't enough.
Hi Heloise,
I have got various brands. Last night I took Swanson Phosphatidylserine 300 mg at 7.30 which seemed to help. I am also on Zopiclone, have been for about 6 weeks, and feel got addicted. Feeling awful in the day with a pounding heart, but still underdosed for thyroid and still trying to sort out cortisol levels.
So only taking small doses of T3 and trying to reduce cortisol, but I feel my cortisol levels are all over the place now. I'm in a bit of a mess really.
Dreading this whole zopiclone addiction that is creeping up on me - its awful. I have in the past had to take a full 7mcg zopiclone but last night managed with half a tablet in combination with the seriphos. I did wake up twice and took small dose of rhodiola both times and managed to drift off again - thank god.
I may try the Interplex brand tomorrow but I hate messing about and chopping and changing things.
Thanks for the reply.
