Is it worth paying or is there no guarantee that even a private endo will believe we have a thyroid problem?! Do they still go by ranges and numbers rather than symptoms??
(I do have the list of private endos).
I am "borderline" hypo.

There is no guarantee
You may be better off just seeing a private gp which will be cheaper than an endo. If you are in London i can give the details of mine
I think it depends. Some private doctors aren't worth the money. Others are like gold. You really do have to pick and choose carefully.
