Is it ok to have a black or green tea sometimes during those periods of not eating? in other words would a cuppa interfere with absorption?
Thank you anyone who replies.

I have my dose all at once when I get up, so don't have to bother about anything else till next day.. Have breakfast 1/2 to 1 hour later. This is what Dr Lowe said when he used T3 for his patients. This is an excerpt but to understand better the scientific reasoning, read the questions/answers on the r/hand side:-
And finally, why do I specify that the typical patient use one full dose of non-timed-release Cytomel for life? Because extensive testing has shown that this is safe, effective, and most economical—when used within the context of our entire protocol.
I don't think so but I'm going to have adrenal saliva test before having any more.
I have seen some say that T3 absorption is less affected by food and drink than T4, although others here will disagree.
Why not try and see whether less rigid observance affects how you feel on your current dosing regime?
That's wonderful news thank you so much all of you. I've been finding it all very stressful. The less stress we have the better!!!!!!
Sorry, late again! Yep, I don't find food and drink affect T3 absorption either - and I wonder if you're taking enough - empirical evidence I've found suggests that if you have sufficient T3 the peaks and troughs disappear, like Dr Lowe and Shaws say. That's what I'm finding as well - if it's not too drastic, try pushing your dose up in the morning and see how far it takes you, taking a little more and stretching the time till next dose as far as you can, so you free up more 'normal' time when you don't have to think about your condition. I resent having to be 'aware' of my hypo state, and from your post I can see you are very conscious of it, so it's worth persevering to achieve a regime which doesn't involve split doses. Once you've built up to the right dose, there's no physiological reason not to take it all in one go and get on with your life as normal - despite what you may read elsewhere, T3 isn't as volatile as people make out once you've got enough in your system!
