Has anyone been diagnosed with secondary as well as primary Hypothyroidism (I have Hashimotos)?

I actually think this is more common than is perhaps currently recognised. I have low TSH and low FT3 and yet Dr's are dosing me by the TSH - when it should be obvious to an expert that the FT3 should be higher if the hypothalamus and or pituitary are working normally.

Just wondering if anyone else has the same picture?
