In my view, as so many things affect absorption of levothyroxine, the only sensible approach is to separate the tablets from food, drink other than water, supplements and other medicines. I suggest, if possible a couple of hours.
Some substances such as iron and calcium have particularly significant effects and should be separated by four hours.
Other suggest that if you do the same thing every day, it doesn't much matter. Afraid I always tend to think of the days when something changes - no milk left so you skip breakfast, you have a completely different eating regime on holiday, or whatever. Lots of things can disturb an otherwise fairly stable diet.
