By painful knee. Latest blood test,ok but been asked to repeat in months time. Question is, am thinking of increasing dosage to see if it helps, any suggestions of by how much?

Please detail your meds, dosage and latest bloods with the ranges as this will help people to better offer informed support.

Am afraid do not know exact ESR levels; other meds are weekly Alendronic acid, daily calcium, omeprazole as needed. When diagnosed with GCA 18 mths ago started on 60 mg daily, have gradually reduced to 2 mg and everything has gone remarkably well until a few weeks ago when started to feel as though may be having a relapse, however GP says blood ok (but separately have been asked to have it checked in a months time). As I said earlier made worse by very painful knee, had x ray but nothing serious seems to have shown up, going to have physio. Hope this helps.
