It's best to take probiotics in tablet or capsule form

you have to read the labels. My GI doctor gave me a list that says for constipation, acidophylus is good. But if BLOAT is the problem, "most probiotics cause bloat (saccharomyces boulardii* does not)." Also *good for diarrhea, so not recommended for constipation.

p.s. I have IBS-C and also Parkinson's. If I take Activia, it creates painful pressure similar to prune juice, so I can't use it, but my daughter finds it effective.
