I'm curious about it too. Trying to find U.S. equivalent. My GI doc never heard of it.
I also have diverticular disease, never been told what foods to avoid, never had any special advice, was told that most people over 50 have diverticular disease - and never suffer any symptoms. So, what's the real reason for so much pain and discomfort?
I have not got divercular disease but I have IBS and Ulcerative colitis. I have been
prescribed Normacol which I have been taking for a month or so now and have
found them very helpful, I take them in yogurt or with plenty of water.
