I've been prescribed Laxido and told to take eight sachets, within six hours, for faecal impaction. Anybody out there done that? How was it? What happened? Did it work? Thanks for reading.

Laxido for faecal impaction
Hi there,I too was told to take a large amount of Laxido after trying many other remedies for long term constipation. Fortunately I only took half the amount as it led to severe stomach cramps and vomiting as well as emptying the bowel! After that very unpleasant experience I didn't take anymore but then of course was back in the same situation of being really constipated! So I have now got into the habit of taking one sachet every night before bed and for several weeks now have been "regular" for the first time in years and with no stomach cramps ! I make sure that I drink more water these days too. I hope this helps, everyone's system is different so it's a case of listening to your body sometimes. Good luck
I find the more I take the more sludgy everything is In side and I still can't pass it all, I have taken 8 sachets in the 6 hours and only went to the toilet 3 times after but i have diagnosed slow transit colon, it works better when I take 1 sachet a day in the late afternoon.
