I suffered with a nasty bout of H-Pylori a while ago that was treated with antibiotics. For a while all was okay, but my IBS symptoms have returned with a vengeance over the past few months and I can't seem to shift it. I am starting to wonder if is is actually IBS or another condition. I don't think the H-Pylori has returned as I am not displaying the symptoms associated with this condition.
Does anyone have a similar issue?

Possibly the antibiotics has upset your IBS? You could try taking a good probiotic such as Alflorex to help bring things back in balance. In future, whilst on antibiotics, it is advisable to take saccharomyces boulardii, which is a beneficial yeast and to take it for a couple of weeks afterwards. It acts in the same way as a probiotic, protecting your gut bacteria, but since it is a yeast, it isn't affected by the antibiotics (which probiotics would be).
Try to replace the good bacteria that the antibiotics have ( unfortunately) probably wiped out, I prefer to do this using foods such as live yoghurt, kimchi, kefir, some people take probiotics which I do not like as I find some of them too harsh.
There isn’t a quick fix, and don’t overdo adding different things in large amounts.
You could try Fodmap diet but I don’t believe it is a long term answer as it will just set your digestive microbial system to eating only those foods, I think it’s best to vary foods.
Stress is unfortunately a really enemy to our digestive health, try to minimise it .
I agree with what others have said, a high count wide spectrum Probiotic along with L Glutamine for a leaky gut may well help, it wont be instant but I'm sure that you'll find a real benefit in taking them
