Yellowish bile looking stool??

Does anybody else get diarrhea that burns while coming out & is yellowish brown &looks like pieces of food ??

its saying on google bile duct diarrhea or malabsorption. is this common with Ibs? i have a gastro appt later today

How did you get on with your appointment? Sorry nobody got back to you yesterday. I used to get this yellow burning diarrhoea when I was getting to the end of my toilet trips each day. But I don't tend to get it much these days as the consistency seems to have changed over the years. I would be interested to hear what you doctor had to say about it though!

hi maureen! he didnt say much about what it could be. he took my symptoms down & booked me for stool samples and a colonoscopy so i think thats pretty good. im 21 & didnt have to fight or advocate. he knew a colonoscopy is what i need. i was very happy

Hiya colonoscopy showed 8 hemorrhoids!!! other than that allll clear

That's good news. Just out of curiosity how many times do you go a day. I was just thinking about the malabsorption.

Only just seen your post did your Gastro mention bile acid malabsorption?

no he didnt!!! but hes a great gastro. first appointment and im 21 years old. stool samples and colonoscopy booked! i thought BAM. i just dont wanna bring it up and seem like a hypochondriac
