Yes they can, that was exactly the reason why I had to stop taking them. I take mebeverine / colofac now which has no side effects for me. Your vision will improve as soon as you stop the buscopan. Good luck.

I didn't get blurred vision with Buscopan but I did get heart palpitations. I got the same effect when re-trying Buscopan years later from when I first tried them, so the side effect for me was pretty consistent. Like tiredmum I used to get on better with mebeverine/colofac.
