Anyone with ibs c get pain down as low as the bladder when constipated

Yes. It's the distended bowel pressing on the bladder, which can make it difficult/painful to pee.

I have done in the past. Cramping pain right down from my abdomen into my groin and the tops of my legs. Horrible! It's amazing how far reaching the symptoms of constipation can be - I've had everything from the usual stomach ache and nausea to headaches, chest pains, sore throat and more. I've heard that back pain is also common as it can put pressure on the nerves in your spine.

Yes, I used to get really confused as they are so similar. Now I don't have periods but still get the pain with constipation

Hi, I'm currently in that situation yet again. In agony cos i can't pass any poop. I'm drinking laxido to soften it until then the pain, bloatness and uncomfortable feeling is there. I can't sit down or stand up. It feels like my period is starting. I'm going through the menopause to which doesn't help. O the joys x

Colofac if anything for the pain, Senna sometimes works, but I've found the best thing for me is I have a bag of ready to eat prunes and eat about 6 or more and go the next morning (hopefully!).
