Has anyone with IBS-D tried enterosgel??? If so does it help?
Enterosgel: Has anyone with IBS-D tried... - IBS Network
Enterosgel
I use Silicol Gel and for me it's been a miracle ( unless I eat too much!!)
I was taking silicol & it worked for a couple of weeks but then ‘it’ started again. I gave up on it as it was too expensive anyway!!! Thanks for your reply though.

Just found this
There are several different intestinal adsorbents based on the natural silica or clay. ENTEROSGEL® is based on pure organic mineral called methylsilicic acid. ENTEROSGEL® does not contain any preservatives and additives, which could cause allergic or toxic reactions. ENTEROSGEL® has an extensive body of post-marketing studies from early markets and excellent safety profile.
Yes Enterosgel works for me. Calms the symptoms and no nasty side effects. Wouldn't be without it.
Hi,
I actually have two boxes of the product but not tried it yet . I was surprised that only one person replied so far , saying that they had tried it and it worked for them . That in itself does not sound too positive or encouraging really.
Maybe give it a go at a suitable time and if so , will post about the results.
Perhaps more people will still reply yet.
Good luck and hope it helps😊

Thanks. I was thinking the same!!
Have you tried it yet?
Hi,Suecoo66,
Sorry , no info, as not tried it yet. I have been using Silicolgel. It works to some extent. Definitely a help but a bit expensive and maybe a bit more difficult to transport the larger bottle.
I often get urgency after even main meal , sort of fast transit . The Silocolgel helped a lot.
I will try to remember to try the Entrosogel next, when other stuff used up.
Thanks

Yes! I'm using it! It's one of the best product ever. Helped me a lot with my IBS. I'm taking it also for travels, any events, when I know it's gonna be some different foods. It's also very safe for babies and breast's feeding mothers, my sister is using now to secure babe from any food allergies. Highly recommended!
Yes I take it and it has helped a lot. It took a little while to settle down and I did the initial 4wk course (twice a day as 3 times gave me C). I now take a maintenance dose of 1 tbspn a day in the morning. I'm no longer take omeprazole and mebeverine as a result. Rarely get GERD now and hardly bloated unless I've eaten too much!
Its expensive but worth it
There are clinical trials with the NHS
I can't believe this product has been around in Europe for years, its commonly used for gastroenteritis in Eastern Europe and made in Czech
